Prinz Louis Ferdinand der Komponist, Pianist und Soldat wurde von Beethoven so sehr geschätzt, dass er ihm sowohl das 3. Klavierkonzert wie auch die Eroica - Symphonie widmete. Louis Ferdinand wurde in der Schlacht von Salfeld, nach der Anstiftung zur 4. Qualition gegen Napoleon, getötet.
