Enrique Blanco Joachim (1991-present) was born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, to a Dominican father and Haitian immigrant mother. He was raised in a "batey" (a poor community where people live and work in sugar cane plantations), but at the age of 20 he went to Santiago de los Caballeros for college purposes. He is a physician, motivational speaker, English and Spanish teacher, director of American Accent English School-AAES, community leader, and book writer.
