Deficiencies of sulphur in crop production are increasing worldwide. Modern agriculture requires adequate fertilization of Sulphur to achieve maximum crop yield and performances. Plants use sulphate, the oxidized form of sulphur existing in the soil, as a sulphur source Sulphur plays an important role in the availability of phosphorus and micro-nutrients. Sulphur application increase Phosphorus availability and also soluble phosphorus in the soil surface layer.
