Redel, Martin ChristophGeboren am 30. Januar 1947 in Detmold als Sohn des Flötisten und Dirigenten Kurt Redel und der Pianistin Erika Redel. Schlagzeugstudium bei F. Scherz, Kompositionsstudium bei R. Kelterborn, G. Klebe, J. Driessler und I. Yun.Seit 1971 in Detmold, seit 1979 Professor für Komposition und Gehörbildung an der Nordwestdeutschen Musikakademie Detmold. Mitbegründer, Schlagzeuger und Dirigent des Detmolder Ensembles für Neue Musik "Kontraste". Verfasser eines Lehr- und Übungsbuches "Grundlagen des Kadenzspiels im Tonsatzunterricht".
