Bach, Johann SebastianJohann Sebastian Bach war Organist in Arnstadt, Mühlhausen und Weimar, ausserdem Kapellmeister am Hof in Köthen und ab 1723 Thomaskantor in Leipzig. Sein umfangreiches Schaffen umfasst Kirchenmusik, konzertante Orchestermusik, Kammermusik, Orgel- und Klaviermusik und weltliche Kantaten. Johann Sebastian Bach stammte aus einer grossen Musikerfamilie und war der bedeutendste Komponist des Barock.
