Generally the user chooses the gadgetry on the basis of cost of gadgetry and ignoring all other factors. The particular product or gadgetry due to higher power consumption may prove very costly. For this reason, digital electronic power analyzer have been developed and used. The module described in the books is specifically designed for that purpose; it is used as a low cost digital electronic power analyzer module for simple power measurement applications. The digital power analyzer described here is based on a method that differs from the electrodynamics, electrostatic, thermal, and Hall Effect wattmeters, all of which make use of analog multiplication of current and voltage performed by a physical process in the device.
