Her research focusses on Inclusive Adult Education, Pedagogical Professionality in a Diverse Society and Inclusion in Higher Education. Dr. Vana Chiou is currently member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Geography, University of the Aegean (Greece) in Educational Psychology. Her research interests include: didactics in teaching geography, differentiated instruction in mixed - ability and multicultural classrooms, utilization of educational technology in differentiated instruction, self - regulated learning, social and emotional learning. Dr. Alisha M.B. Heinemann, Diplom-Pädagogin, hat in der Erwachsenenbildungswissenschaft promoviert und arbeitet aktuell als Post-doc Universitätsassistentin im Arbeitsbereich Deutsch als Zweitsprache der Universität Wien. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Deutsch als Zweitsprache, Literalitäts- und Adressatenforschung in der Erwachsenenbildung sowie kritische Migrationsforschung.
