Face recognition is a difficult,unresolved problem in signal processing. OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Diffusion Multiplexing)is the basis of 4G,5G mobile communication systems that enables high data rates in wireless communication system.We proposed a measure(NMSE)which isbased on normalized(MSE),totest theperformance of image transmission over OFDM system, with or without multipath effect. Under the effect different types of noise such as Gaussian, Impulse and Rayleigh noise. We compared performance of (NMSE) with the well-known Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) has been made under different baseband modulation schemes: Binary Phase Shift Key(BPSK), Quadrature Phase Shift Key (QPSK).
