"Piya Mahtaney's latest publication is on sustainable development, a subject of immense contemporary relevance globally. Mahtaney ably deals with the subject matter. Her analysis of key elements required to sustain development is well-reasoned and raises pertinent issues. As she rightly observes, sustainability is the life line of the future and has far reaching implications in the economic, social and political spheres." Minoo Shroff, Chairman, A.D Shroff Trust and President, Forum of Free Enterprise, India "Mahtaney presents a fresh perspective on the economic situations in the US and the EU, which is achieved by comparing the systemic failings and current challenges of the two largest developed economic areas the Eurozone and the United States to the those of the biggest two emerging economies, India and China." - Journal of Human Rights in the Commonwealth
