Nanomaterials have become a research focus in terms of both their fundamental and practical significance.Combustion method is an effective, eco-friendly and low-cost method for production of various nanomaterials and demonstrated the efficient ability of CuFe2O4 nanoparticles for structural, photoluminescence and photocatalytic properties.The present CuFe2O4 nanoparticles can serve as a potential candidate for light emitting diodes.It was found that CuFe2O4 nanoparticles is highly active towards the photo-decolorization of dyes with very high yield because of the smaller particle size, higher surface defects and the presence of more number of active sites.
