Dr. Bhawana Pathak is working as Professor in School of Environment and Sustainable Development, Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. She holds M.Sc. in Botany with Gold Medal from Kumaun University Nainital and Ph.D. in Plant Ecology from G. B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development Kosi -Katarmal Almora. She has more than 18 years of Research and teaching experience in the specialized area of Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation, Environmental Biotechnology and Environmental Nanotechnology. She has contributed to development of curriculum for different courses and published more than sixty research papers/ scientific research articles, book chapters and also contributed as editor/ author of four books. She involves in innovative research work in the specialized area for implementation and future policies. She has also presented scientific papers in national and International Conferences and Seminars.  She is a recipient of Outstanding Faculty award in Bio Science & Technology. 

 

Dr. Rama Shanker Dubey (born December 23, 1955) is serving as Vice Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat at Gandhinagar, India. He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University. For over 45 years he has conducted pioneering research on environmental issues focusing on soil salinity, water stress and metal toxicity effects on key metabolic alterations in plants. He has over 173 scientific publications with 18,400+ citations, h-Index 47 and i10- Index 103. He has guided 32 doctoral students and has worked in many reputed laboratories of Sweden, Germany and Japan. He is recipient of several awards in Environmental Biochemistry and Biotechnology like BHU Medal in 1976, Young Scientist Award in 1982, Swedish Institute Fellowship in 1989, Japan Society for Promotion of Science
