In the present book, it is concluded that microbial air quality testing is highly recommended in the industrial sector of Davangere district due to the contamination of the air in the industrial and residential areas. This study was designed to examine the atmospheric fungal diversity within industrial areas and the effect of seasonality variation of fungal populations. The areas such as Azadnagar rice mill, rice puff industries, Harihara poly fiber, sugar industries of Harpanahalli were identified as main area of air borne fungal diversity can pose the greatest risk. The air in the industrial atmosphere is in constant movement and can cause fungal spore to settle onto the surfaces of ground. The entire process from rice mills, rice puff, pulp waste, sugar and distilleries needs to be routinely tested for airborne fungal diversity and in industrial sector of Davangere district.
