Sugarcane is most important commercial argo industrial crop in India. In Maharashtra area under sugarcane was 770 thousand hectares with production of 23157 thousand tonnes and yield per hectare was 61.7 tonnes. The production of sugarcane is considerably low. It may be due to incidence of pest and diseases.So, control of pest and diseases with the help of Integrated pest and disease management is important.Therefore, the attempt to study the adoption in respect of knowledge and adoption of IPDM practices by sugarcane growers have been made. Findings revealed that majority of sugarcane growers were found to be in medium level of knowledge and adoption of IPDM practices of sugarcane. The respondents were having good knowledge regarding cultural and mechanical practices of IPDM and they mostly adopt cultural methods either completely or partially as compared to other component of IPDM.
