Sincere attempt has been made in this book to focus on the basic concepts of earthworm cultivation as well as bio-fertilizer production & also emphasizes on socioeconomic development of rural unemployed people. Dr. Roy is working as Associate Professor of Post Graduate Department of Zoology, Jhargram Raj College, Jhargram, West Bengal -721507, India. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the field of control of plant parasitic nematodes from Visva Bharati. He has wide range of experience in Applied Zoology. He hasbeen teaching for long 20 years at UG level and more than 10 years at PG level. He has guided one Ph.D student and has published more than 25 research papers in international & national journals.
