So they were enslaved for almost 400 years, at which time they were in danger of being killed off so that there would be no more Israel.

But God's timing is perfect! Moses was born and chosen by God to save the Israelite people. His job was hard, but he loved God and was obedient to Him. We can see the relationship that Moses shared with God and the power that God demonstrated to the people through him.
