Paola Paoloni is Full Professor at the Niccolò Cusano University Faculty of Economy in Rome (Italy), where she teaches Business Administration and Economics of Public Corporations. Her research and publication interests include general management, financial reporting, female entrepreneurship and intellectual-based management. She is the Head of the "Ipazia" Scientific Observatory of Gender Studies. She is author and co-author of several articles and books and she attends as a speaker at many international conferences including the EIASM Workshop on Intangibles, Intellectual Capital and Extra-financial Information; International Academy of Management and Business (IAMB); International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management & Organisational Learning (ICCKM); and the Forum on Knowledge Asset Dynamics (IFKAD). She is a member of Societa Italiana Di Ragioneria E Di Economia Aziendale (SIDREA); New Club Paris (NCP); Accademia Italiana di Economia Aziendale (AIDEA). She is an editorial board member on academic journals such as, Open Innovation: Technology, Market, and Complexity and China-USA Business Review Journal. She is Vice-President of the Society of Open Innovation: Technology, Market, and Complexity (SOItmC) and Scientific Director of the Observatory on Gender "Hypatia." She received the "Outstanding Paper Award 2014" with the paper, "Implementing an IC framework in practice" (Paoloni and Demartini, Journal of Intellectual Capital, 2012).

Rosa Lombardi is Assistant Professor of Accounting at Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). She is eligible as Associate Professor under the Italian National Qualification. She had her Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy).
