This book covers the science of interfaces between an aqueous phase and a solid, another liquid or a gaseous phase, starting from the basic physical chemistry all the way to state-of-the-art research developments. Yi Liu is currently working as an early stage researcher in Forschungszentrum Jülich, Institute of Complex System. Her research is focused on near-wall dynamics of colloidal systems. The main experimental techniques she applies are evanescent dynamic light scattering, total internal reflection microscopy and polymer synthesis.
