"All in all, this is an impressive, ''must read'' volume that would be appealing to anyone interested in the exploration of fields as varied as theoretical linguistics, cognition, discourse studies, psychology, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, which makes the volume particularly attractive to those scholars from different persuasions who are interested in the relevant connection between CL and other theoretical frameworks. It represents a successful effort at multi-disciplinarity and offers, in a complementary fashion, a rich overview of the many threads of discussion on core issues of the current debate in Linguistics.
