The author serves as a referee for top journals including Urban Studies, Cities, Journal of Urban Affairs, Journal of Planning Literature, Journal of Social Policies, China: the International Journal, and so on. Co-edited two journal special volumes on China and Asian urbanization, globalization, and peri-urbanization. Publications include a monograph and over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in English, with a translated book (English to Chinese) and over 20 peer-reviewed articles in Chinese. Serves as the liaison between Urban Affairs Association and its strategic partner in China.
