Towards high quality growth and clean transfer of CVD graphene

Graphene, discovered in 2004, has created an immense research interests due to its extraordinary and unique properties, which made it as an outstanding material for future device applications. Despite intense interest and remarkably rapid progress in the field of graphene-related research, there is still a long way to go for the widespread implementation of graphene. It is still a great challenge for manufacturers on a commercial scale to develop clean, efficient, inexpensive, and scalable methods for the production of high-quality graphene needed for such applications. This book provides some solutions to the above-mentioned problems. In this book authors proposed an improved and sustainable growth method to obtain large area high-quality graphene and a clean and smooth transfer method which permits the transfer of continuous and crackles films of graphene onto arbitrary surfaces.
