Klappentext zu „Structure of light nuclei in the frame of potential models “
Bound and continuum structure of light halo nuclei is one of the hot topics of nuclear physics. The most important properties of light halo nuclei, such as beta decay and electromagnetic transition to the continuum are understood on the basis of realistic description of two-body and three-body nuclear structure through deep cluster-cluster potentials with Pauli forbidden states at lowest waves. In contrast to the repulsive cluster-cluster potentials, the deep potentials yield a nodal behaviour of wave functions at short distances. It is shown that this nodal property plays a crucial role in the description of the beta decay data of light halo nuclei to the continuum.
