Pressezitat
«At a time when globalization stimulates such oppositional stands that it becomes the stake of presidential elections in some countries, this book offers a contextualized analysis of how globalization shapes curricula and international, educational research. It is a 'must read' for those who would like to explore the new mindsets of global citizenship.» (Francois Tochon, Professor and Head, Foreign Language Education, Department of Curriculum & Instruction, University of Wisconsin-Madison)«...an outstanding collection of essays showing how the terrain of educational research is being reshaped by the complex and contradictory processes of globalization. Never again will we be able to assume educational sites and processes we research to be self-contained; they are linked inextricably to the international circulation of educational ideas and ideologies, as well as of the researchers themselves.» (Fazal Rizvi, Professor of Educational Policy Studies, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Former Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) and Professor of Education at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia)
