Nierhoff, JoachimDer Drolshagener Joachim Nierhoff ist ein profunder Kenner des Sauerlandes und seiner Menschen. Der gelernte Buchhändler besuchte die Abendschule und studierte im Anschluss Deutsch und Geschichte. Der leidenschaftliche Hobby-Historiker arbeitete als Lehrer und ist in der Vergangenheit bereits mit mehreren regionalgeschichtliche Publikationen hervorgetreten, darunter im Sutton Verlag die Erfolgstitel "Historische Morde im Sauerland" und "Weihnachten im Sauerland".
