A field experiment entitled "Response of soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill) varieties to varied times of sowing during rabi season" was carried out during rabi, 2015-16 on sandy clay loam soils of dry land farm of S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with factorial concept and replicated thrice. The treatments consisted of four times of sowing viz., 16th September (second fortnight of September), 1st October (first fortnight of October), 16th October (second fortnight of October) and 1st November (first fortnight of November) and four varieties viz., Basar (V1), JS-93-05 (V2), Bheem (V3) and JS-335 (V4).
