Klappentext zu „Human Rights in Burkina Faso “
The process of emancipation of a State must be watered at the spring of the basic rights of its population in the hope of a valorization of its economic, social and cultural practices. Otherwise, the negation of this principle is described as "cruelty" and "brutality" which are reprehensible behaviors compared with regional and international instruments. If the League of Nations which has changed into the United Nations Organization has dedicated a Universal Declaration of Human and Peoples rights on December 10th 1948, it was in the objective to improve the view of "living together" for communities and nations and advert the atrocities of World War I; It isin this respect that the defense, protection and promotion of human rights are initially the responsibilities of States, but also of all human beings who share these legitimate aspirations which are equality, dignity, and especially the right to life. In spite of these sacred universal values, some human lives are belittled and still undergo the most unimaginable horrific violation of human rights in many countries, among which Burkina Faso, an African country in southern Sahara.
