The third volume of this collection completes the exploration of patterns for women and men. It focuses on the shaping of men's and women's outwear. The wide range of patterns examined includes basic forms of jackets, coats and cloaks as well as the latest trends and new cuts proposed by designers that go beyond the timeless and fundamental models. The book also offers detailed descriptions of drafting techniques, which are essential for the industrial patternmaker and, last but not least, techniques for altering and fitting jackets, coats and cloaks. Antonio Donnanno began hiscareer in his family's tailoring shop. In 1982, he founded the prestigious Euromode School Italia in Bergamo, which soon expanded abroad. He has written dozens of books on fashion and has his own consulting firm, which focuses on patternmaking and business. The illustrator, Elisabetta Kuky Drudi, is also author of Promopress bestseller Fashion Details. She currently designs for various international fashion houses.

Autoren-Porträt von Antonio Donnanno
Antonio Donnanno began in his career in his family's tailor shop and later, after majoring in history and philosophy, focused on the teaching of costume history and pattern-making techniques. In 1982, he founded the acknowledged Euromode School Italia in Bergamo, which soon expanded with new branches on the international stage and where, alongside his teaching duties, Donnanno also serves as director. Antonio Donnanno has written dozens of books about fashion and has his own consulting firm, focusing on pattern-making and business.As a consultant, illustrator and stylist for different fashion companies Elisabetta Kuky Drudi has planned and organized fashion shows and collections on an international level. She has collaborated as illustrator, fashion designer and textile designer with firms such as Baldessarini, Fuzzi, Hugo Boss & Hugo Boss Sport, Jean Paul Gaultier (Femme, Homme and Soleil) and Joop. She is also the author of several bestsellers. Currently she designs for various international fashion houses and collaborates as a technical knit designer with Emilio Pucci, Mary Katrantzou and MSGM.
