The Author: John. E. Ho is Professor of Law and was Chairman of the Department for External Economic Cooperation in Beijing Second Foreign Language Institute. He graduate from the Law School of the National Central Univesity in Chungking, the wartime capital of China, and received his M.A. degree in political science from Baylor Univesity, Waco, Texas. Dr. Ho taught Chinese language, Chinese modern history, oriental philosophy, and East Asian political culture at Baylor University (1988-92). His publications include Understand Law.
