He has extensive research experience in the biomedical sciences and leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. His research interests include bioinformatics; systems biology; pharmacogenomics; immunology; neuroscience; personalized medicine; and translational medicine. Dr. Yan has published many research papers and edited four books on biomedical topics.
