A non-Einsteinian Approach to the Theory of General Relativity

Einstein's theory of general relativity, the most widely accepted theory of gravity, generalises special relativity and Newton's law of gravitation, providing a description of gravity as a geometric property of space and time. It is considered as the basis of the current cosmological models of an expanding universe. So far, the electromagnetic force is the only fundamental force. The invisibly working and long-range gravitational force arises as the mechanical picture of this one. These are, in particular, the results of the discovery of the long-searched for magnetic monopole.
